About the Opportunity

The Project Control Specialist is responsible for independently managing and monitoring project performance, including cost, schedule, and quality. S/He actively participates in the development and implementation of project controls processes and provides expertise to project teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Monitor and analyze project performance, identify risks and issues, and propose corrective actions.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations on project status and performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers to track progress against project baselines.
  • Lead project control meetings and provide guidance to project teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project controls practices.

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project controls tools and software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project controls or a related role.
  • Experience with project controls software and tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of project control practices and techniques.
